you say organize, we say style

A few organization tips from At Home’s art director, Mandy Keener. Why didn’t we think of that??
You say organize, I say style….
I like to organize about as much as i like to cook, basically only when there is wine involved. I do, however, like to make my things look fun in my little cottage. So, here are a few of my favorite products and tips on how to style or “organize” your stuff & things.
1. Clips.
You can use these to organize bags, scarves and basically anything that you can hang. But why not also use them to hang art? Give your space a little industrial feel with these oversized clips, and if you are like me (always changing her mind), they make it super easy to switch out your pieces.
2. Spice Jar.
If you don’t actually have need for spice jars, why not use them to store those not so pretty things like twist ties, toothpicks or even plain ol’ aspirin.
3. Hook Rack.
This might be my favorite. Imagine several of these hung on a brightly painted wall. Super sleek, right? Ok, now the best part…there are hooks folded up in the design! Instant organization and a swell looking wall, too. Five hooks on this rack…five very pretty things that can be out on display…now can you color coordinate your scarfs, cardigans, coats or bags to match your space!
4. Glass Containers…any shape or size will do.
Round up some of your favorite collections and display them. The color from the collection will bring these to life. I use them for EVERYTHING! Fabric swatches, my ever growing Pez collection, concert tickets, glitter, colorful chalk and gum balls of course.
5. Wastebasket.
Yep, this one is pretty dang rad. I wouldn’t use it for trash, but I would use it to organize pretty papers or magazines. Anything will look good in this..especially tons of gum balls!
Now you can go and get some more stuff & things…and “organize.”

I LOVE this post. Laughed out loud too!
I would like to say that I hope I have influenced some on organizing….
But I know all items will be great for many uses. Each person would have their own ideas…
