Color Me Turquoise

I have been living in my new house for about 2 months. Finally, I have come up with the perfect color scheme for all 1,012 square feet. (Yep, I have moved up from my 622 sq. ft. loft.) It’s one thing to pick the perfect color for a layout, but it’s quite another to find the right color for a bathroom, living, dining, sunroom and kitchen. Then there are the bedrooms. For someone that lives for color, getting the right scheme can be a little tricky. I had to think about the sunlight, my fabrics, art and all the other elements that make my little cottage home.
So, I enlisted a little help with At Home’s Design Your Own Room feature on our home page. It’s a blessing in disguise. The swatchbox gives you several options from flooring to siding and even garage doors. My personal favorite is the Valspar Virtual Painter. If you are planning on any updates in your home, head over to the swatchbox. You never know what color is just a click away for your kitchen. (Turquoise in my case. Which reminds me, I need to get my curtains finished.)
Have Fun!
