Color Me Turquoise

I have been living in my new house for about 2 months. Finally, I have come up with the perfect color scheme for all 1,012 square feet. (Yep, I have moved up from my 622 sq. ft. loft.) It’s one thing to pick the perfect color for a layout, but it’s quite another to find the right color for a bathroom, living, dining, sunroom and kitchen. Then there are the bedrooms. For someone that lives for color, getting the right scheme can be a little tricky. I had to think about the sunlight, my fabrics, art and all the other elements that make my little cottage home.

So, I enlisted a little help with At Home’s Design Your Own Room feature on our home page. It’s a blessing in disguise. The swatchbox gives you several options from flooring to siding and even garage doors. My personal favorite is the Valspar Virtual Painter. Which reminds me, I need to get my curtains finished.)
